This ornate dress watch is unique on many levels, but perhaps it's most standout features are the contoured turtle shaped lugs, and ripple-edged case. The rivets and details on this case seem never ending, and represent the best and most interesting of case designs of the era.
CONDITION
The dial is all-original and in honest condition. Some nicks and blemishes can be seen in a couple spots on the dial, and the outer blue-coloured date text is faded in areas, but it is in overall good condition. Its beautiful two-tone design, and oversized sub-seconds dial is as charming as can be, and wears elegantly on the wrist. This stunning watch is all original and in very good condition.
The watch runs on a 15 jewel Movado movement and was recently serviced by the previous owner. All the functions work as they should, and the watch is keeping good time.
