Originally sold to its first and only owner in 2006, this unique limited edition watch is a treat for any Porsche enthusiast. The watch comes as a full set, including the warranty book and card, instruction manual, original sales receipt, and perhaps one of its most unique packaging features - a mounted replica model of a yellow Porsche 911. The model rests on a latch, which lifts up to reveal a storage pouch for all the paperwork. Also mounted on the inside of the display box is a metal certificate of authenticity, which details the specs of the watch, including the unique serial number.
Released as part of a trilogy of watches consisting of red, black, and yellow dials (each color-way limited to 911 pieces), this is a unique release for several reasons. Perhaps most notably is that the cases are made from titanium, a particularly unique material used for watch cases, especially in the early 2000's.
There's no doubt that this is a unique piece in both its design, as well as its connection to the iconic 911 - but it is also impressively capable, from a performance standpoint. Equipped with a robust Eterna-based 42-hour automatic movement (the ETA 2893-2, to be exact), this is a watch that can hold its own among watch and auto enthusiasts alike.
CONDITION REPORT
The watch is in overall excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear, and is running as it should. On the left side of the case there is a scuff (please refer to the photographs). There are also a couple marks on the bezel, and some very light surface scratches on the underside of one of the lugs (your typical tool scratch from a previous strap change). The only other wear worth mentioning is not on the watch itself, but on the model Porsche - one of the rearview mirrors has broken off, but is accounted for and will be included in the set (it can easily be reattached). Service history of this watch is unknown.
