DESCRIPTION

The PAM00670 takes the brand’s familiar naval DNA and loads it up with horological muscle, all wrapped in a 47mm brushed titanium case. At its core is the hand-wound P.2002/E calibre, offering an impressive 8-day power reserve across three barrels, proudly displayed through a sapphire caseback. The dark blue sunburst dial, set in Panerai’s iconic cushion case, hosts a unique mix of poetic and practical complications.

Chief among them is the equation of time—a rarely seen complication that displays the difference between solar time (true noon, when the sun is at its highest point) and conventional mean time (aka civil or standard time, which is what your watch normally tells you). Because of Earth’s tilted axis and elliptical orbit, this difference fluctuates throughout the year, reaching up to +14 minutes in February and down to -16 minutes in November. On the PAM00670, this data is elegantly tracked via a linear scale at 6 o’clock, automatically set when the date is adjusted.

Pair that with a GMT function, AM/PM indicator, month display, and date window, and you have one hell of a tool watch. Lume-treated sandwich dial, golden hands, and oversized Arabic numerals give the dial bold clarity day or night. And despite its visual weight, the titanium case keeps things surprisingly wearable, even on longer hauls or daily wear.

CONDITION

Immaculate condition. Originally purchased in 2024 by the original (and only) owner from a Canadian authorized Panerai boutique.

Includes full set: inner/outer boxes, instruction booklet, warranty card, Panerai strap changing tool, and an additional blue rubber strap.

The watch shows only light surface wear on the case and polished bezel. The dark blue alligator strap with its signature Panerai stamped buckle is hardly worn and remains in excellent shape. Approximately 7.5 years remaining on Panerai's 8-year limited warranty.
