With its clean, symmetrical dial, perfect Zaratsu-polished indices, and that subtle pop of red on the “GS” logo, this watch distills the essence of Grand Seiko: precision, purity, and mechanical excellence.

The SBGX093 was introduced in 2012 alongside its other high accuracy quartz-powered siblings alongside its siblings (the SBGX089 and SBGX091), forming part of a trio inspired by classic “engineer’s watches” like the Rolex Milgauss and IWC Ingenieur. Where its mechanical counterparts (the SBGR077 and SBGR079) played to enthusiasts of automatic movements, the SBGX093 helped carved out its own niche as a celebration of high-end quartz horology. CONDITION REPORT & CONTENTS

This particular example dates to 2012 and presents in excellent condition. The case has been lightly polished while maintaining its crisp factory geometry and beautiful brushed and polished contrast. The case and bracelet are free of major blemishes, with only two barely-visible flea bites visible where the case meets the bezel.

The bracelet remains full-length with all links included. The watch functions flawlessly, and while service history is unknown, the 9F61 movement performs as expected with its signature precision.

Included are the original inner and outer boxes (outer box showing light scuffing), instruction manual, and spare bracelet links. Warranty card not included.
